FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Singer-Songwriter Eddie King Breaks the Chains in New Album Breaking Free
An Honest, Acoustic Journey Out of a 10-Year Narcissistic Relationship
Atlanta, Aug 6th — With raw emotion and unapologetic honesty, alternative acoustic rock artist Eddie releases his powerful new album Breaking Free — a bold statement of liberation after a decade in a narcissistic relationship. The album, entirely self-written and self-designed, takes listeners through the painful unraveling of control and the triumphant reclaiming of self.
“This record is the sound of me finding my voice again,” says Eddie. “After ten years of silence, manipulation, and emotional gaslighting, Breaking Free is my way of saying: I’m done. I’m alive. And I’m not going back.”
With haunting melodies, stripped-down arrangements, and lyrics that cut to the core, Breaking Free captures the emotional rollercoaster of healing. Songs like Tell Judas and Wake Up deal with betrayal, rage, and grief, while tracks like What If You Knew and Sugar Oz shine with hope, rebirth, and defiance.
Drawing comparisons to artists like Ben Howard, Damien Rice, Glen Hansard, Eddie offers a sound that’s both intimate and cinematic. Each track on Breaking Free is a chapter in a story — and that story is one many will recognize, even if they haven’t found the words to tell it yet.
The album drops August 6th on physical copies ONLY (featuring original artwork by Eddie) will be available through eddiekingmusic.rocks.
